What I Shared and Saved in February ✨
Thoughts, notes, and bits that made me 1% Wiser this month.
Every month, I come across ideas, quotes, and conversations that stay with me a little longer than the rest. Some I share with friends, others I save to enjoy again later.
This is a small collection of both: What I shared and saved in February. The thoughts, notes, and bits that made me 1% wiser this month.
Maybe one of them will do the same for you✨
1- This Wise Note
I could only appreciate Dr Daniela Mascaro’s thoughts as I’m currently fighting a lot of shoulds and supposed to-s in my own life.
The sailboat analogy is perfect 🛶
2- The Exercise That Stopped My 3 am Overthinking
I’m a big believer in the power of visualization and the promise of this post by Magdalena Ponurska is impossible to ignore. And neuroscience strongly backs it.
I tried the exercise twice, and I’m now patiently waiting for the 6-months mark to reap all the benefits… Just kidding, I know it doesn’t work that way 🤭
But I keep going back to what I wrote on those two sessions and it always helps.
3- This page from The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
If you’re a creator of any kind — or a creator in hiding — you know Resistance.
This book has some solid insights on how to tame it and get things done.
Shout-out to David W Litwin for the recommendation 👋
4- Sensitive by Jenn Granneman & Andre Sólo
Dr. Tara Cousineau 💛 suggested I read this book and I’m loving it. Thank you, Tara!
I’m only halfway through as I write this, and it has already earned a spot in my monthly favorites.
I don’t usually use post-its and highlighters when I read, but I felt compelled to with this one.
A must read for any sensitive person ✨
5- Sky - Helping Helpers’ entire publication Everyday MI
My whole life, I’ve obsessed on how to effectively help the people I care about.
Earlier this year, I discovered Sky - Helping Helpers’s work and that was it… I was hooked. It wasn’t long before I became a paid subscriber to his publication.
Motivational Interviewing (MI) feels very exciting ✨
It’s a way of talking with someone about a change they’re considering that makes them more likely to move in a positive direction.
Everyday MI is a great place to start if you want to get better at helping others in a non-annoying way.
That’s it for this month’s collection! If one of them stays with you too, then it’s done its job ✨
Here’s to getting 1% wiser, one idea at a time.
What’s one idea, quote, or moment that lingered this month? Let me know in the comments👇🏼

Love these. Thank you Ilham for a lovely roundup 💕
