I am told that when you handwrite your brain 'lights up' - the neurotransmitters are very active. When you type there is no response. And like Joan Didion I have to write to know what I think.

This is exactly what I needed to see at exactly the time when I really was ready to read, understand and accept it. I have spent over an hour trying to write and rewrite this comment because it repeatedly has opened the door to long neglected thoughts and feelings that were ready to be released. And what I typed was several long entries indicating exactly what was going on inside. I am trying very hard to curb my chronic habit of making short stories incredibly painfully long and wordy, like I have done here as a very very small example. All of those written words have slowly and carefully been copied and pasted into my personal journal, a much more appropriate place.

So in the spirit of using the most appropriate and least wordy version, I will now again say thank you. And I truly look forward to more of these wonderful posts that you share. And, yeah, this IS my short version. At least for now. 😎🦮
