Who am I ?

I’m Ilham, and I write for people like us: introspective, sensitive souls who think a lot, feel a lot, and are craving more clarity, calm, and intention in their lives.

I’m a 34-year-old and highly sensitive. Born and raised in Morocco, I’ve also lived in the US, Brazil, France and found my forever home by the sea in San Sebastián, Spain.

I’m obsessed with beautiful interiors, good aesthetics and rewatching the same comfort shows and movies over and over again.

By day, I work as an engineer in the industrial sector. By night, I lean into what fascinates me endlessly: The way emotions shape our lives, and how to manage them skillfully.

Five years ago, I was under the mercy of a cruel inner-critic and stuck in overthinking loops. I started writing to make sense of my own experience. Today, my goal is to walk with you and share what’s helped, what hasn’t and how I’m still learning while navigating this crazy journey that is life.

I’m deeply inspired by thinkers like Alain de Botton, Susan David, Brené Brown, Dr. Nicole LePera and others. I blend their wisdom with my own lived experience navigating the challenges that come with adulthood.
